The Collingwood Atom A Blackhawks capped off an unbelievable season winning the Ontario Federation Championships in Cobourg Apr. 12 - 15. Collingwood went 4 - 0 in the round robin to qualify as the number 1 seed in the semifinal. In the semi final the hawks came up againts a determined team from Cambridge, Cambridge opened the scoring, however the Hawks came back to win 3 - 1. The Championship saw the Hawks againts Nickel City, the Hawks proved to be too strong and won the game 5 - 1 to claim the championship. The win capped off a season that will go down in history in Collingwood Minor Hockey. The Hawks ended with a record of 78 wins, 2 losses, and 2 ties.
